SunnyGap ("we", "us") is a mobile app that shows you the best outdoor weather windows for the week. It is operated by an independent developer based in Croatia. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

We do not collect your precise device location in the background, your contacts, your photos, or anything else not listed above. We do not show ads and we never sell your data.
We rely on a few service providers ("processors") to run SunnyGap, in the following categories: application hosting, database storage, weather forecast retrieval, push notification delivery, transactional email, subscription management, and product analytics. Each provider receives only the minimum data needed for its function, processes it on our instructions under a data processing agreement, and is required to protect your data to the same standard described in this policy.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it. You can request the current list of our processors at any time by emailing [email protected].
Your data is kept for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, all of your data (account details, locations, preferences, and notification subscriptions) is permanently deleted from our database immediately. Aggregated analytics events are retained by our analytics provider per its standard retention and are not tied back to a deleted account.
You can delete your account at any time directly in the app: Settings → Delete Account. This removes all your data from our systems. You can also email [email protected] and we will delete it for you.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the processing of, and delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
SunnyGap is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above, and where appropriate notify you in the app.
